Yemen (IP) - Yemeni National Salvation Government's Minister said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran sought to liberate all Muslim nations from the yoke of the US and cut off the Americans' hand from the natural resources of Islamic countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: The commemoration ceremony of the 44th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was held on Thursday at the Iranian Embassy in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, where Yemeni political figures including some members of the Ansarullah movement and the National Salvation Government of Yemen, attended.

In an interview with IranPress on the sidelines of the ceremony, Ahmad al-Ali said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran awakened the spirit of freedom-seeking and resistance among the Yemeni nation, and such that Yemen was now one of the countries in Resistance Axis.

Al-Ali said: "We are now standing against the American-Zionist-British aggression and we want to have political independence and build our country by ourselves."

From the beginning of its victory, the Islamic Revolution supported the issues of the Islamic Ummah, especially the Palestinian issue, he added.

A member of the Political Bureau of the Ansarullah Movement Fadl Abu Talib told IranPress the Islamic Revolution was a movement flourishing day by day. 

He added: "With the beginning of its formation, the Islamic Iran faced a war against itself, led by the US; Even now, it is facing various conspiracies, but thanks to a wise leader and an informed nation, it will defeat the conspiracies."

Still, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ali Sharaf al-Din said: Iran's Islamic Revolution showed that Islam is the religion of progress, civilization, and technology."

Sharaf al-Din pointed to Iran's progress in such areas as nanotechnology, medical science, and organ transplantation at the world level, and said that the country was in second place in the world in terms of expenditure for scientific research.
