Iran Press/ Iran news: The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran is celebrated on 22 Bahman, which is equivalent to 11 February.
It commemorates the Revolution led by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi dynasty and the installation of the Islamic Revolutionary. This political celebration is held on the last day of the celebration called the Ten Days of fajr.
The head of the "Coordination Council for Islamic Promotion (IPCC) in a press brief on Thursday, Feb.9, 2023, explains the programs for the celebrations and festivals to mark the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory.
Delivering a speech, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Hussein Musapour said the enemy plots and seditions the most independent political government in the world like the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said: Each of the conspiracies that took place against the Iranian nation alone was enough to bring down any country, but the Islamic Revolution stands strong and not only neutralized them but also moved forward and progressed.
He said: We will witness the enthusiastic participation of people this year as well."
The days of Fajr 10-day this year are accompanied by various programs and thousands of cultural and sports programs are supposed to be held.
Referring to the plans of the "22 Bahman march", Hojatoleslam Musapour said: "This year, the 22 Bahman march will be held with the enthusiastic participation of people from all walks of life in all villages, and cities after two years of the corona outbreak."
He added: "This march will start in 38,000 villages and 1,400 cities from 9:30 am and 6,000 media reporters will cover this march. 1,600 booths will be set up on the march route. The groups of 1357 student anthems will sing the song of the revolution in all centers of the provinces."
