Tehran (IP)- Iran's top diplomat, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, stated that the international community has recognized that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on his last legs and is struggling to stay afloat.

Iran Press/Iran news: This revelation came during a phone conversation with Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday night, where they discussed the ongoing situation in Palestine, particularly in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

Amir-Abdollahian referenced Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks about the Israeli regime being ensnared in the Gaza conflict due to the resilience of the Palestinian people and resistance groups. He also updated Haniyeh on Iran's diplomatic efforts and consultations at the global level regarding the Palestinian crisis.

The minister condemned the UN Security Council for its inaction and urged immediate intervention to halt the massacre of Palestinians, particularly women and children in Gaza, while also advocating for humanitarian aid to be sent to the besieged region.

Haniyeh expressed gratitude towards Iran for its unwavering support of Palestinians and provided insights into the current political and military landscape in Gaza. He highlighted the determination of resistance fighters against Israel's military aggression and emphasized the dire humanitarian conditions in northern Gaza.

Furthermore, Haniyeh called on the international community to oppose Israel's tactics of starvation and deprivation against Gaza residents, especially children. He also criticized Israel for rejecting Hamas' reasonable demands for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange, placing responsibility on them for any potential breakdown in negotiations.

Overall, both parties underscored the urgent need for global action to address the crisis in Gaza and alleviate the suffering of its inhabitants. 204
