Iran Press/ Middle East: Ali al-Husseini called the leakage of some news about the US decision to attack Iraqi resistance groups as a deliberate act.
The PMU commander said the US intentional leakage of the news has two reasons; first, the US, which is suffering an internal crisis, seeks to transmit it out of the country.
The second reason, he said, refers to the US efforts to create a crisis for other countries to exploit them in its elections.
The flights of US warplanes, helicopters, and drones have increased over Baghdad during the past days.
Iraqi Caretaker Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi noted that he was concerned about reports of unauthorized flights near Iraqi military bases.
Speaking about recent US military movements in Iraq, Iranian Foreign Ministery's spokesman said these acts are against what has been ratified in Iraq’s parliament. It is a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq.
All these movements are threatening and endangering the region, he added.
