US troops withdrawing western Iraq
Baghdad (IP) - Media outlets reported US troops withdrawing from the al-Habbaniyah base in al-Anbar province, western Iraq.
Some sources have cited the US troops’ withdrawal because of their fear of continued attacks on their bases in Iraq.
The Iraqi people, as well as many officials, call for the exit of the US troops from their country.
In another development, the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) killed 5 Daesh terrorists, including two of the notorious group’s commanders, in Salah al-Din province, northern Iraq.
These terrorist elements were preparing for carrying out an explosive operation when were targeted and killed by the PMU forces.
