The Tehran-Mahshahr flight overshot the runway when landing, ending up in a public highway, but no one was hurt in this incident.

Iran Press/ Iran News: The incident happened at the airport near the port city of Mahshahr, in Khuzestan province, southwestern Iran. The Caspian airline's flight overshot the runway with 135 passengers on board and veered/skewed towards a public avenue on Monday.

The spokesman for Iran's Civil Aviation Authority, Reza Jafarzadeh announced that no one has been hurt in this incident and that all passengers are safe.

"Fortunately, all passengers on Tehran-Mahshahr flight are safe," the spokesman Reza Jafarzadeh announced.

He said the cause of the incident is currently being investigated.
