Iran Press/Europe: According to Russia's Tass news agency, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that a Russian Sukhoi 27 fighter jet had intercepted a US spy plane over the Black Sea and forced it to change direction.
This is the second time in a week that Russian fighter jets have intercepted US aircraft in the Black Sea basin.
The Pentagon recently announced that the new US National Defense Strategy, a road-map for the Department of Defense, will pave the way for a new long-term strategic competition with China and Russia.
