On Monday evening, Ebrahim Raisi responded to the telephone call of Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, and while praising the support of the Yemeni people and warriors to the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza, stated, "These supports are in addition to admirable measures such as magnificent protests, declaration of clear and firm positions in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and also trying to cut off the economic arteries of the criminal Zionist regime will not be forgotten by the free nations of the world and is a source of pride for the Islamic Ummah".
Referring to the deceitful and hypocritical behavior of the Western countries towards the criminal actions of the Zionist regime, the President described the US and the Western countries supporting the Zionist regime as the biggest violators of human rights in the world today and stated, "The silence and inaction of these countries and international organizations towards more than six months of horrific crimes and genocide in Gaza has encouraged the Zionist regime to commit more crimes and increase tension in the region".
Referring to the courageous initiatives of the Yemeni warriors to stop the genocide of the Palestinian nation, the President stated, "The standing and resistance of the heroic nation of Yemen alongside the Palestinian nation will be effective in deterring the crimes of the Zionist regime and will set the balance in favor of the oppressed people of Gaza".
Dr Raisi also described the development of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Yemen to benefit the two countries, two nations, and the Islamic world.
In this telephone conversation, Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, while congratulated the proud and honorable operation of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in response to the aggressive action of the Zionist regime by attacking on Iranian consulate in Syria, and said:
"This brave action in punishing an enemy that does not adhere to international laws and does not understand any language except the language of force was a repetition of the glorious Islamic Revolution and derived from the teachings of Imam Khomeini (RA)".
The Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen stated that the proud operation of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran restored honor and dignity to the Islamic Ummah, and emphasized that the resistance front is a united front and always adheres to confronting the Zionist regime and supporting Iran.
