Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's education minister, Mohamad Bathai has rejected the 2030 UNESCO document which seeks to dictate how we should educate our children.
According to an Iran Press report, elsewhere in his remarks Bathai said any foreign document which seeks to impose a course of action for us to follow is unacceptable and will not be followed by teachers in our education system.
Education minister Bathai added: "When our oil export, economy and the imposed sanctions have impacted our people's lives, it is natural to see some parts of our educational system limp. Our educational system is much stronger and more advanced than the 2030 UNESCO document."
Earlier, the Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran also warned against the 2030 UNESCO document, saying the document contradicts Islamic rules.
