Iran Press/Middle East: The military struck underground facilities belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, the army said.
Israel has banned fishing off Gaza's coast and closed the Kerem Shalom goods crossing, cutting off deliveries of fuel to the territory's sole power plant.
Earlier, the Israeli military’s tanks had attacked a number of military observation posts of Hamas.
Also on August 10, East Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, has been targeted by Israeli fighter jets.
The Israeli army artillery unit also announced that an area east of Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip has been targeted.
Gaza has been under Israeli siege since June 2007, which has caused a decline in living standards.
Israel has also launched three major wars against the enclave since 2008, killing thousands of Gazans each time and shattering the impoverished territory’s already poor infrastructure.
