Iran Press/Middle East: The AFP news agency reported that the Israeli tanks targeted military posts belonging to the Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Gaza security officials said the fire hit Hamas observation posts near al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij refugee camps in the center of the strip, and the town of Khan Yunis, further south. There were no casualties.
Also, Israel has banned fishing off Gaza's coast and closed the Kerem Shalom goods crossing, cutting off deliveries of fuel to the territory's sole power plant.
Earlier, the Israeli military’s tanks had attacked a number of military observation posts of Hamas.
Also on August 10, East Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, has been targeted by Israeli fighter jets.
The Israeli army artillery unit also announced that an area east of Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip has been targeted.
