Beirut (IP) – In an interview with Iran Press, a prominent leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, currently based in Lebanon, has voiced serious concerns about Israel's ongoing plot to eradicate resistance in the West Bank.

Iran Press/West Asia: Mahfouz Manwar, in an exclusive conversation with our correspondent in Beirut, highlighted that the Israeli attempt to dismantle Palestinian resistance is not a new phenomenon. However, he noted that this strategy is now being pursued within a broader framework, impacting both the Gaza Strip and other Palestinian territories.

Manwar explained that the Israeli regime is advancing its settlement expansion project in the West Bank, employing policies of displacement and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. According to him, these actions are part of a deliberate plan to undermine Palestinian resistance and solidify Israeli control over the region.

The leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad emphasized the continued sacrifices made by the Palestinian people in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip for the cause of Palestinian freedom. He stressed the importance of coordination between Palestinian communities and resistance groups, asserting that victory can only be achieved through steadfastness and resistance.

Manawar concluded by reaffirming that the Palestinian people will not allow Israeli occupiers to achieve their objectives, vowing to maintain their struggle for liberation and justice.
