Iran Press/ Iran News: The Isfahan University of Technology has produced 9 healthcare items including disinfectants, scrubs, and masks.
The chairman of the university’s public relations department said one of the items produced is a disinfectant device for homes that works through ultra-violet (UV) ray and is like a microwave set.
A portable ultraviolet disinfectant using state-of-the-art technology is another item produced at the university, according to Mohammad Javad Barati.
He also pointed to the university’s cooperation with Foulad Mobarakeh Steel Company to produce 20,000 N95 masks per day.
In a letter to the deans of universities, Iran’s Science Minister Mansour Gholami stressed the support of universities and technology parks to produce items and equipment or provide services to fight the Coronavirus.
So far, 41,495 people in Iran country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus, 2,757 people have died due to the virus and 13,911 have recovered.
