Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing developments.
During the conversation, Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation, underscoring that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path toward lasting peace. He also stressed the importance of bringing an immediate end to all attacks and hostilities.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment, the Deputy Prime Minister said the country will continue to support all efforts aimed at restoring regional peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is set to host the Foreign Ministers of key brotherly countries for consultations on the regional situation. At the invitation of Ishaq Dar, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty will arrive in Islamabad for a two-day official visit starting tomorrow.
