In a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, strongly condemned the recent attacks by the U.S and Israel on Iranian civilian infrastructure.

The Pakistani Prime Minister once again strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli-U.S attacks on Iran, including the recent attacks on civilian infrastructure, and emphasized Pakistan's solidarity and support for the brave people of Iran during this challenging time.

Shahbaz Sharif expressed condolences for the martyrdom of more than 1,900 people in Iran and prayed for the recovery of the injured and displaced.

Shahbaz Sharif further briefed the Iranian President on his strong support for Pakistan’s peace initiative and expressed hope that a practical way forward could be collectively found to end the hostilities.

Masoud Pezhakian thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his country’s supportive role for peace. He also said that all the muslim countries have the potential to fight against Isreal and U.S threats in the region.
