A wave of reactions has emerged from Iran’s art community following U.S.-Israeli military aggression against Iran that resulted in civilian deaths and damage to infrastructure. Artists have taken to social media and released statements to express their condemnation of the attacks by the United States and Israeli regime's forces.
Actor Hadi Hejazifar shared a poignant message reflecting on the suffering of children in Minab and other affected areas. He described being overwhelmed by images of distressed children and grieving families, composing a lament for the “pure and courageous souls” of the nation. He suggested that reviewing works from the Sacred Defense era could offer solace.
Another well-known actor, Parviz Parastouei, posted a video of an attacked café-restaurant, attributing the strike to “child-eating Trump and bloodthirsty Bibi Netanyahu,” and stating that they had reduced another so-called vital military center to ruins.
Amin Zendegani emphasized the historical ties and resilience of the Iranian people, asserting that “enemies will either leave Iran’s soil or be destroyed.”
Actress Merila Zarei praised the nation's defenders, stating, "You are the true children of Iran; we are proud of you, and your bravery will be recorded in history as a lesson for future generations."
The artists' statements collectively convey a strong sense of national unity and defiance in the face of U.S.-Israeli military aggression.
