Iran's Zahra Kiani snatched the gold medal in the individual Talo competitions in the 10th Asian Wushu Championship 2024 at Macau, China.

Iran Press/Asia:  Zahra Kiani is the first woman in Iranian history who has succeeded in bringing a gold medal in Talo, a section of wushu. 

The competitions kicked off on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and on the second day of the coemptions, Kiani managed to win the gold medal in the Jin Shu category with 9.686 points.

Athletes from Hong Kong and Vietnam stood in second and third place, respectively, with 9.686 and 9.683 pints. 

Kiani also is the first woman Talo player who has achieved a medal for Iran at the global level; overcoming his Russian rival at the 13th Wushu World Championship in 2015, Kian won the silver medal.
