Iran's wushu team snatched 20 medals in qualifications for the World Cup competitions in China.

Iran PressAsia: The Wushu World Cup 2024 qualification games started yesterday morning Wednesday with more than 300 participants from 38 countries, hosted by the city of Jiangyin in China, and ended today, Thursday, April 25.

These competitions ended while all the Iranian athletes sent to these competitions won medals.

Iran's wushu athletes, who won 6 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals on the first day, continued to shine on the second day and won 7 gold and 4 silver medals.

In today's fights, Mohsen Mohammad Seifi, Sohail Mousavi, Ali Soharri, and Mohammad Reza Rigi won 4 gold medals in the Sanda category.

Zahra Kiani, Shahin Banitalebi and the men's dueling team (including Mustafa Hassanzadeh and Hossein Qiblanema) won 3 golds in the talo division.

Also, Soheila Mansourian, Mostafa Hassanzadeh together with Zahra Jalili brought 3 silver medals to Iran's caravan in the women's category.

Thus, at the end of the competitions, the 14 members of Iran's wushu team won 13 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals and took the first team and overall championship position. These competitions ended while all the Iranian athletes sent to these competitions won medals.

China stood second with 7 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze, and Uzbekistan came third with 3 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze. 219
