Iran Press/Africa: During the campaign, the special guest of honor, Malam Dawud Aliyu Azare, after speaking on the unimaginable Israeli crimes against humanity in Palestine and Lebanon, the Islamic cleric noted that apart from resistance, nothing in this world could stop the Zionist regime from committing terrorism.
Malam Dawud Aliyu Azare said despite the division that exists among Nigerian Muslims and in other countries of the world, the successful Operation Promise 2, a retaliatory attack carried out by Iran against Israeli military bases has become a source of happiness and unity among Muslims ummah not only in Nigeria but across the world.
According to Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Yashi who's the chairman of the occasion and also the representative of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky in Bauchi, the program was initially meant to conclude the series of celebrations of the birth anniversary of the holy Prophet Muhammad (PBH) which started since 12 of Rabi ul Thani, but due to expansion of the Israeli genocide, the program took another dimension of making awareness and campaign for the liberation of Palestine and to also reiterate support for Iran, Hezbollah, Yemen's Ansarullah, Iraqis, and Palestine.
"Indeed, last year, the celebrations of the birth of the holy Prophet and of course, the one of this year, came at a time when the whole Western world, super-headed by Israel waging a full-fledged war against Palestine and Lebanon as well. Therefore, we are using these celebrations to call on both the national and international community to condemn these kinds of atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinians and the people of Lebanon.
