New York (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has described his recent consultations in New York as "constructive."

Iran PressAmerica: Amir Abdollahian held meetings with his counterparts from various nations and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, aiming at bringing an end to the ongoing Gaza conflict and the ongoing "genocide" of Palestinians.

According to Iran Press, Amir Abdollahian, speaking on the sidelines of a Security Council meeting on Palestine's peace and security in the region, highlighted the urgency of delivering humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, particularly to its southern and northern regions, and emphasized the need for political solutions to halt the ongoing atrocities in the besieged enclave.

The Iranian foreign minister reiterated his conviction that the future of Palestine rests in the hands of its own people through Palestinian-led dialogues, emphasizing that the Palestinians and their leaders must determine their own fate.

He also stressed the importance of international and regional efforts to bring an end to the crisis and stop the ongoing "genocide" of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Amir Abdollahian's meetings in New York underscore Iran's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and its dedication to finding a just and lasting solution to the conflict.
