Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of Iran and India met in New York, ahead of the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations, mulling over the latest issues related to both countries' interests.

Iran Press/America: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is in New York to attend the UN General Assembly, in a meeting with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Indian counterpart, said: "I hope we will use this opportunity to pursue a balanced foreign policy and active, dynamic, and intelligent diplomacy of the current administration in regulating and developing foreign relations with all regions of the world and targeted countries and have consultations and talks with counterparts."

More than 100 world leaders and heads of government are converging on the New York headquarters of the United Nations this week for days of events and speeches to mark the beginning of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
