Iran's Deputy Health Minister on Tuesday urged observing health protocols at the time of restaurants and food shops reopening process, saying implementing personal hygienic rules, social distancing as well as food health together with observing the safety rules are obligatory.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Deputy Health Minister in charge of the Center for Environmental and Occupational Health at the news conference on Tuesday told Iran Press correspondent about the upcoming protocols required to be implemented in reopening restaurants and food shops saying a hygienic- protocols' package has been prepared and uploaded on Health Ministry's official website.

Mohsen Farhadi highlighted that implementing personal hygienic rules, social distancing as well as food health together with observing the safety rules are a must.

According to Farhadi, the normal distance for each table is 1-2 meters to be immune and safe in the restaurants and food shops.

"The employers are also obliged to check and monitor their staff daily in case of finding any sign of the disease

"The dish whether served at the restaurants or as take-outs at restaurants must be fully covered and salads also should be omitted from the menus even self-service ones", he stated.

The official added all the hotels are not allowed to be opened for holding mourning or wedding ceremonies, just takeout food is the only services they would be able to offer.

He expressed hope on by implementing social, personal, and general hygienic protocols and distancing the disease would be fully contained.
