member of the Iranian parliament's national security and foreign policy committee said that INSTEX does not meet Iran's expectations from the European side, and even if it fully operational, Tehran is not satisfied.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Senior MP and member of the Iranian parliament's national security and foreign policy committee Alaeddine Boroujerdi said on Sunday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not satisfied with anything less than the full implementation of the  Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and if it is planned to be accomplished, all its articles must be fully implemented, Iran Press reported.

He noted that if the European do not fulfill their obligations fearing the United States's punishment or they are unable to act in accordance with international law, they should wait for Iran's actions to reduce their commitment, and if they expect otherwise, they should replace the talk with the act.

Boroujerdi emphasized: "The deal must continue in a two-way direction, and we cannot be watching that our national interests will disappear on a one-way road, and we just remain with lots of commitments and restrictions."

Stressing that the Europe must act independently, Boroujerdi said that they don't have to enforce illegal sanctions on Iran since none of these sanctions has been approved by the UN Security Council, adding: " Iran expects all sanctions mentioned in JCPOA agreement to be lifted to pave the way for financial transactions and selling Iran's oil.

INSTEX (Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges) mechanism was pledged by the European signatories to the deal when the US unilaterally withdrew from it. The UK, France, and Germany vowed that they would cover the damage inflicted on Iran as a result of the withdrawal.

Back on May 8, on the first anniversary of the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, Iran announced that it would suspend the implementation of some of its commitments under the deal, adding that it would stop exporting excess uranium and heavy water, setting a 60-day deadline for the five remaining parties to the deal to take practical measures towards ensuring its interests in the face of the American sanctions.
