Iran Press/Iran news: Member of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) Commission on Energy Ali Ebrahimi named the US government's dishonesty as a major hurdle in the way of Iran benefiting from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
In an interview with Iran Press news agency on Sunday, Ebrahimi said: "Prolonged implementation of the JCPOA has upset the Iranian people and they are waiting for countermeasures from the government, so it should take serious measures in this regard."
He added: "Iran's performance has been very reasonable so far and its withdrawal from JCPOA will give an excuse to Western countries; so, while enlightening more, the government should take serious measures in this regard."
