Iranian lawmakers are set to decide on Monday whether to approve the nominee for Health and Medical Education Ministry.

Iran Press/Iran news: Saeed Namaki was appointed as caretaker of the ministry after Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi, the former minister, resigned over budget cuts last month. 

Based on the Majlis procedure, the president Hassan Rouhani  can deliver a one-hour speech at the confirmation vote in support of his nominee. Two proponents and opponents of the ministerial hopeful will also have 15 minutes each to convince the legislature, Iran Press reported.

Namaki will have 30 minutes to speak in defense of his plans in the new capacity. 101/202
