The Lebanese Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) has officially taken responsibility for a drone attack on the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Iran Press/West Asia: According to Al Mayadeen news network, Hezbollah's public relations official, Mohammad Afif, announced in a press conference that the drone strike targeting Netanyahu's home in Caesarea was carried out by the Lebanese resistance group.

Israeli media reported on Saturday that a drone belonging to Hezbollah targeted the prime minister’s residence, prompting the deployment of multiple ambulances and police forces near Netanyahu's house.

Israel's Channel 11 confirmed that the drone was launched from Lebanon, covering a distance of 70 kilometers to directly hit Netanyahu’s residence. Smoke from the explosion was visible from afar.

However, Israel's Channel 12, quoting an insider from the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that Netanyahu and his wife were not present at the Caesarea residence at the time of the attack.

Last Friday, Hezbollah issued a statement indicating that the Islamic Resistance Operations Room, following the directives of its leadership, was entering a new phase of confrontation with Israel. The group warned of escalating actions in the coming days.

The incident underscores the rising tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, with both sides escalating rhetoric and military activities.
