Iran Press/ Europe: Ali Mohammad Helmi said that good cooperation has been done so far and one of the most important of them is the resumption of inter-religious talks and the continuation of friendly relations between Iranian Muslims and Greek Orthodox Christians.
He added: "The resumption of these talks, which had been suspended for years, shows the efforts and desire of both sides to develop Iran-Greece relations in the scientific and cultural fields."
Referring to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Helmi suggested that the preliminary meeting of this round of talks will be held in a webinar in the near future.
Praising the efforts made in recent years to continue talks between the two countries, the Director-General of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece also stressed the role of inter-religious talks and cooperation between religious leaders of Iran and Greece.
