The Greek minister of agriculture described the bilateral ties between Iran and Greece as the good ones, showing interest in expanding cooperation with Tehran.

Iran Press/Europe: Makis Wedides in a meeting with Iran's ambassador to Greece Ahmad Naderi referred to the old and historical ties between the two sides, saying that Athens enjoys the constructive ties with Iran in the agricultural sector and it can expand the existing ties.

The Greek Minister went on to call the Iran-Greece agricultural cooperation as beneficial for both sides, Iran Press reported.

In the meeting, the different fields of agricultural cooperation between Iran and Greece were discussed and the details of the cooperation are supposed to be followed up in the joint meeting of the two sides' experts.

Iran's ambassador also referred to the US unlawful and unilateral withdrawal of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),  adding that the US officials on one hand claim that they are supporting the Iranians and on the other hand they not only have imposed the most severe sanctions against the Iranian nation but also they pushed other countries to follow the sanctions.
