Iran Press/ Iran News: Hassan Rouhani made the remarks on Tuesday in a video conference with the provinces of South Khorasan, North Khorasan, Ilam, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, saying that the gradual reopening of jobs should be done with full care and observance of all health guidelines and principles, because if the health principles are not observed, this action may only be useless, but also dangerous.
While talking to a number of doctors and nurses of Valieasr Hospital in Birjand in South Khorasan Province and Martyr Mostafa Khomeini in Ilam, he discussed the process of providing health and hospital services, treatment and discharge of patients with COVID-19, and the shortcomings and needs of these centers to provide better services to the people.
Rouhani also spoke with the CEO of the National Technology Project of Gamma Radiation System in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, which works to sterilize masks, medical equipment, and agricultural products in the economic zone of Shahre Kord, get acquainted with the efforts made in this center and other sites that follow the principles.
Iran has been implementing the Social Distancing Plan by closing universities, schools, religious, sports centers, and imposing restrictions on what businesses can stay open during the Coronavirus outbreak to protect the lives and health of the people.
Worldwide, the total number of infections recorded since the beginning of the outbreak reached more than 1,350,000. Nearly 285,000 people have recovered globally, while the global death toll has neared 75,000.
In Iran, more than 60,000 have been infected with COVID-19, nearly 3,700 have died and the number of recovered patients has reached 24,000.
