Iran, Armenia seek expansion of cooperation

Armenia’s Prime Minister called for the expansion of cooperation with Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Meeting with Iran’s envoy to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri on Friday, the Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan expressed satisfaction over the close ties between the two countries and stressed the expedition of expanding comprehensive cooperation including North-South Corridor.

Strengthening Iran-Armenia cooperation in countering the spread of the Coronavirus was among the issues discussed during the meeting between the Armenian Prime Minister and the Iranian ambassador.

Earlier on March 25, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia had called for continued transit and scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
