People of Bosnia and Herzegovina express solidarity with Iranian people

The people of Bosnia and Herzegovina have expressed solidarity with the Iranian people in the fight against Coronavirus in a symbolic way by lighting the Sarajevo City Hall.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mahmoud Heidari appreciated the Bosnian people on Friday 20 March and said the symbolic initiative demonstrates the deep ties between the two countries and the strong friendship between the two nations.

Referring to the cooperation and sisterhood of Sarajevo and Tehran, Heidari added, "This valuable initiative is a positive step towards strengthening the ties between Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina."

Iran’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina asked the Bosnian people to pay more attention to health and medical advice to prevent coronavirus infection.

At the ceremony, the Mayor of Sarajevo Abdullah Skaka recalled Iranian people’s support in the time of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims of Coronavirus in Iran.
