Iran Press/Iran News: "According to the latest data, 50 people become infected with Covid-19 in approximately every hour, and 1 person dies as well every 10 minutes because of the implications of Coronavirus," Kianoush Jahanpour wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday morning 5:37 AM.
He also called on people to stay at home and avoid traveling during the Nowruz holidays.
Yesterday and in the other event, Iranian Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi announced that coronavirus kills three people every hour and infects 43 of them. On the same day, Iran’s Deputy Health Minister confirmed that 5,710 Covid-19 patients across the country have recovered from the disease.
Iran's Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi in a daily press conference held at the Ministry of Health and Medical Education said on Wednesday that 1192 new cases of Coronavirus infection diagnosed during the past 24 hours and 147 more people died from the disease.
He also said that according to the latest statics 17,361 people infected to Coronavirus so far, out of whom 1135 people died.
“Out of the total number of patients, 5,710 people have recovered and we are happy about this matter,” Raisi added.
He then called on people to stay at home over the coming two weeks to fight better with the spread of coronavirus across Iran.
