Tehran (IP)- Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) health official underlined IRGC readiness to provide help with Coronavirus patients.

Iran PressIran news: Brigadier General Ahmad Abdollahi, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ deputy commander for Health, Rescue, Treatment, and Medical Education said in the IRGC press conference over the outbreak of Coronavirus, "We have established the headquarter of Coronavirus prevention in IRGC, and meetings have been held about future plans and our contribution to the issue."

Hospitals and healthcare centers that are under control of IRGC will be allocated to Coronavirus patients, he added.

Referring to the situation in Tehran, Qom, Rasht, Kashan, and Golestan, the military official went on to say that IRGC is assessing to provide its capabilities.

"IRGC has always been beside the Iranian people through crisis and disasters. We will play our role in the current crisis of Coronavirus," Abdollahi stressed.
