Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with the Iran Press News Agency's correspondent, Mohammad Ali Rezaei said the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture aims to consult with governmental organizations and ministries, to remove obstacles to the production and export of various products.
Rezaei told Iran Press that this chain in the Chamber of Commerce leads to the creation of jobs, foreign exchange for the country, and of added value.
Referring to the cooperation between the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Chamber of Commerce of Iran to monitor the agricultural and industrial capacities of the country, he said: The Ministry of Interior as the supervisor, the Ministry of Agriculture as the implementing department, the private sector and the Chamber of Commerce as advisors, make long-term plans for growth and development of country's food and agriculture industry.
Rezaei also pointed to the increase of cooperation between the private sector and the government and said that Iran Expo 2024 could be a good host to show the achievements of the cooperation.
The 6th Export Potentials Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran kicks off Saturday at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds from April 27 to May 1, 2024.
He pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce's Agriculture Commission is trying to take more steps to attract customers and penetrate the markets of agricultural products in the world by activating the international committee unit and cooperating with the governmental sector and the country's Development and Trade Organization.
Regarding the impact of the Chamber of Commerce on strengthening the country's economy without dependence on oil products, Rezaei stated that Iran can strengthen its foreign exchange income by carrying out long-term planning in line with the quantitative and qualitative increase in the cultivation of its special agricultural products such as saffron, pistachios, and herbal remedies.
He further added: The import of modern agricultural machines, import of chemicals and seeds of different plants adapted to the country's climatic conditions, as well as support for extraterritorial cultivation should be on the agenda of the private sector and the government to strengthen the agricultural section of the country.
He emphasized that the cooperation between the government and the private sector will create a great future chance for finding international markets to develop the agricultural sector of the country.
