US (IP) - Following the ongoing US Student Movement in support of Palestine, the US police arrested scores of other students across the country.

Iran PressAmerica: The US media reported that more than 600 people were arrested during pro-Palestinian protests in at least 15 universities across the United States.

Near the North Eastern University, the police stormed at the students gathered to protest the US's supportive policies toward the Israeli regime.

While the students were holding each other's hands, the police attacked them and eventually arrested more than 100 protesting students.

Also, over 100 students were arrested at the Southern Californian University in Los Angeles of the states.

The American student protest movement began 9 days ago on April 17 at Columbia University in New York; the protesting students called on the university to cut off its relations with the Israeli institutions involved in the war on Gaza.

The protests came as the Israeli regime culminated its criminal actions in the Gaza Strip of occupied Palestine and officially ran a genocide against the Palestinian people.

Since October 7 and the beginning of the all-out Israeli war on Gaza, over 34,380 people have been martyred and over 77,430 others have been wounded, besides dealing with famine and starvation.
