Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the official opening ceremony of the 6th exhibition of capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran titled "Iran Expo 2024" Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said:
"I consider the employers, producers, engineers, and employers to be the officers and soldiers of the production front who are on the front line of defeating the US and the enemies of Iran. But in this war of wills, the people of Iran decided to leave the sanctions behind, so the spokesman of the White House announced that the maximum pressure on Iran had shamefully failed."
President Raisi further stated: "We need a complete chain in production for economic activity and to prevent the sale of raw materials and the export of raw materials. This complete chain in production, in addition to employment, can complete production and create added value in various downstream and upstream operation stages."
"There is both the possibility of its raw materials, and the possibility of its knowledge and science, and also the efficiency that it can supply to the people of the region and those who want this product with the production and innovation of those needs that exist in the country. The products need a roadmap.
There is a way in this exhibition, pharmaceutical industries, chemical industries, agriculture and fisheries, handicrafts and tourism, etc. are part of the capabilities that Iran is benefiting from today."
President Raisi further noted: "The West wants to prevent us from gaining access to new technologies in our region and if we find them, to dominate them, but with the efforts of Iranian manpower and scientists and specialists, many kinds of knowledge have been localized in Iran, and Iran cannot be destroyed in any way, even by assassinating scientists. We have made the most progress in the areas where the enemy had the most pressure on us, an example of which is military weapons."
"Of course, in Iran's doctrine, we do not have a plan to militarize nuclear technology, but the use of this type of energy in many industries will be on our agenda. The domineering system cannot stop determined nations and independent governments from the path of self-sufficiency and independence. Military power is very important, but production and export power are not less than military power.
What can strengthen the country besides military power is the ability of countries to produce and export non-military goods," stressed he.
