Iran Press/ Iran news: Investors from private and governmental sectors of ECO member states as well as the Kish Islands' investors took part in the symposium.
The head of the Eco-Cultural Institute Mohammad Mehdi Mazaheri said at the symposium on Wednesday that tourism is one of the important features indicating the development of countries.
Mazaheri mentioned to holding handicraft exhibitions as well as tours for diplomats, election of Zanjan (northwestern Iran) as a pioneer city in ECO, election of Mazandaran (northern Iran) as the tourism capital of ECO, opening ECO Peace Farm, and tourism promotion seminar, as Eco-Cultural Institute programs.
According to the head of the institute, the ECO sports competitions will also be held soon.
Synergy and exchange of tourism knowledge are set to be discussed at the two-day conference. 207
