Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Information and Communication Technology stressed the support for the startups' initiatives.

Iran PressIran news: The Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mohamad Javad Azari Jahromi who attended the Smart Tehran Conference on Monday said the private sector should invest in startups.

Reporting that Tehran has joined the e-government infrastructure, the minister said that urban management has transferred from the infrastructure layer to the participation layer.

He talked about Post Plus program to be added to smart Tehran, explaining that electric bicycles and cars will also be used in Post Plus to decrease air pollution in Tehran.

The senior official underlined his ministry is ready to support domestic manufacturers and producers.

The third 'Smart Tehran' conference kicked off on Monday, December 9, in Milad Tower in Tehran, the capital of Iran, with Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari attending. 207/211/219
