Iran's Vice president for Science and Technology said that innovations must be invested in by private sectors.

Iran Press/Iran news: Sorena Sattari who attended the unveiling ceremony of the national Technomarket network on Saturday said that markets must be invested in by private sectors and the government task is to reduce the risks of the investment through devising an ecosystem so that it leads to a better conclusion of contracts.

The Technomarket was a project launched with the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry, Minding, and Trade, a movement that shifted the attitudes toward privatization and led the private sector to invest in the Technomart ecosystem, the vice president said Iran Press reported.

Sattari described the procedure as a new culture for developing technology, the realization of which is required.

He said that the formation procedure of the Technomarket is ascending and predicted the same for the establishment of knowledge-based companies in the coming year.

The Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology expressed his satisfaction with the spread of the culture of support for creating knowledge-based companies, which also is being pursued by ministries to create such entities within their own environment.

The culture's task, Sattari said, is to create a vast ground in the society through which the owner of an idea will be connected to an industry sector that needs it. The sanctions have helped to create this atmosphere in the country so we can use it to create opportunities for the future. It is important to institutionalize the culture.

The vice president asserted that the atmosphere will surely change with the international relations getting freer, so the mentioned structure must remain preserved. Those structures are preserved which have been established upon popular bases and private investment foundations.

Sattari also criticized the import-oriented structure in the country and stressed to shift toward production in the current sanction era.
