Italian lady converts to Islam in Iran Mashhad

A 20 -year-old Italian woman attended the office of the Society of Imamiyeh clerics of Herat in Mashhad, Northeastern Iran and converts to Islam.

Iran Press /Iran News: Hojjat-ol-Islam Ahmad Beheshti, secretary of the Society of Imamiyeh clerics of Herat in Mashhad, said: "A German student 'Kiara Castello' who is originally from Italy, expressed the reasons behind her conversion to Islam. The 20 -year-old Italian woman has said because of the good and kind behavior of her Afghan friends and the dignity of women in Islam, I was proud to convert to Islam, and become a Shia Muslim."

Castello said that she had met Afghans in Italy and, after meeting these friends and learning about Shia religion, had decided to convert to Islam. She declared that Islam is the best way of life and as a Muslim woman she welcomed the safety that the Islamic hijab offers her, Iran Press reported. 101/211/216
