Iran Press/ Iran news: President Ebrahim Raisi, Major General Hossein Salami, chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Esmael Ghaani, commander of the IRGC Quds Force, and a group of government and military officials attended the ceremony.
The family of Martyr Soleimani and figures from the resistance axis countries are also among the other guests of this ceremony.
Abu Fadak Al-Muhammadavi, the deputy chief of the Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi), made a speech at the beginning of this ceremony.
Hashd al-Shaabi deputy said: "Haj Qassem Soleimani played a key role in all stages and events of Iraq. It is true that the most important axis and concern of this honorable martyr was Palestine, but he never neglected the issue of resistance in Lebanon and he also paid attention to the issues of Iraq."
Referring to Haj Qassem Soleimani's efforts to liberate Iraq from Takfiri terrorists, he added: "Martyr Soleimani always tried to make Iraq a free and independent country."
The deputy of Hashd al-Shaabi said: "Haj Qassem Soleimani led the Iraqi resistance together with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and after Syria was attacked, he went there and did many sacrifices.
He said: "Martyr Soleimani's campaigns in the resistance countries were heroic and he was threatened many times because of these campaigns."
Abu Fadak said: "The enemies agreed to confront the Islamic revolution despite the differences between the two poles of capitalism and communism; These two poles agreed to provide all the needs of Saddam's regime, including the provision of airplanes and intelligence fighters and other necessary items, after that they surrounded the Iraqi nation and the Iraqi people suffered from hunger."
The Hashd al-Shaabi commander stated: "He along with Martyr Abul Mahdi al-Muhandis led the Iraqi resistance and this issue was repeated once again when the dear country of Syria was exposed to sedition."
He added: "We went to Syria with the martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani. The struggles of the martyr Soleimani were the struggles of heroes and he was threatened many times and exposed to martyrdom. He witnessed very difficult days in Syria. The world tried and decided to overthrow Syria in just three months."
The representative of Hashd al-Shaabi stated: "He fought in Lebanon with the same zeal that he led the resistance in Iraq. He did not neglect the issue of Yemen and did not forget the issue of occupation in Afghanistan for a single day."
He noted: "The perpetrators of the assassination of General Soleimani will never sleep easy."
