Tehran (IP) - On the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Qassem Soleimani, the president said: Without a doubt, commemorating a national hero and a hero of the Islamic nation is to uphold all divine values. Commemorating Martyr Soleimani is the global face of fighting against arrogance and tyranny and celebrating all goodness.

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi said on Tuesday at a large public gathering to mark the third anniversary of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran: "We commemorate the noble martyr and hero of the fight against terrorism and global arrogance and I am grateful to all the great nation of Iran, especially the youth, for honoring the national hero."

In this ceremony, which was attended by various groups of people, families of martyrs, veterans, international guests, ambassadors of countries, high national and military officials, and international personalities, the president said: "Without a doubt, the reward of a national hero and a hero of the Islamic Ummah is to protect all divine values. Commemorating Martyr Soleimani is the global face of fighting against arrogance and tyranny, glorifying all good things, and declaring hatred and aversion to oppression, arrogance and domination."

Raisi stated that the presence of justice-seeking people is the reason for the survival of this belief, and added: "On the one hand, we are very sad because we lost a military commander, but on the other hand, we are very proud that Soleimani was martyred. He was a person who thought not only about the Iranian nation but also about the Muslim nations in the world."

The President noted: "The message of attending the commemoration of Haj Qassem to all free men and women is that they should stand up and resist arrogance and oppression to block the way of oppressors and arrogant people."

For him, there was no difference between Sunni, Shia Muslim, Christian, Yazidi, Lebanese, Palestinian, or Yemeni, Syrian, Iranian, or Afghan. For him, the elimination of evil and corruption was central to him, the president noted.

Raisi stated: "Some said that he was seeking to make the region Shia, while he was seeking to dry the root of oppression, corruption and evil from the region."
