The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has emphasized on Iran’s preparedness to counter foreign threats.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Deputy Commander of the IRGC, Brigadier General Hossein Salami said Iran will become fully offensive if the enemy dares to start a war.

In a speech in the southeastern city of Kerman on Saturday, Brigadier General Salami stressed that if the enemies dare to attack the Islamic Republic, the country will become fully offensive, IRIB News Agency reported.

A nation that cherishes martyrdom on the path of God will never be defeated and will never be fearful of the enemy, General Salami said.

He added that the whole world should know that when we talk about martyrdom it does not mean that we stand still so that the enemy attacks us and kills us.

IRGC's Commander continued: "Willingness to achieve martyrdom does not mean that only we will be killed; rather, before we kill dozens of enemies, none of us will be martyred."

In similar remarks in April last year, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the US government is well aware of the crushing response it will face, if it dares to take military action against Iran.

The era of hit and run is now over, and the US knows that if it gets entangled in military action against Iran, it will receive much harsher blows, Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated.  105/211 /207
