The Deputy IRGC Commander, Brigadier General Salami has emphasized that Islamic Iran has grown amid all the threats and sanctions.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to an Iran Press report, the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Hossein Salami emphasized that Iran has grown amid all the threats and sanctions, finding its path through threats and hurdles. He added: "The only thing which guarantees survival is being strong and powerful. You become a true expert, only through hard work and through gaining experience on the ground."

General Salami added: "Skill and expertise are gained only through hard work and experience."

Speaking at the national conference on Basij forums of IAU's (Islamic Azad University) professors in the city of Mashhad on Thursday, Brigadier General Salami said it was impossible for Iran to become powerful without having powerful enemies. And this is certainly true today. He added: "If three essential ingredients of a great leadership, a great ideal, and a great nation exist and they combine well, then having a powerful enemy is actually a blessing!"
