Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Iranpress, the Palestinian prisoners are going to start a mass open hunger strike with the slogan of "liberty revolution, administrative intifada" in protest against the poor condition of the prisoners and temporary and administrative detention in the prison of the Zionist regime.
The Palestinian Prisoners Institute has announced that there are about 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in the custody of the Zionist regime, including 31 Palestinian women in Damon Prison and 160 Palestinian children in Ofer, Megiddo, and Damon Prisons.
According to the report of the Palestinian Prisoners Institute, since 1967, 237 Palestinian prisoners have been martyred in the custody of the Zionist regime.
"Hazem Qassem", the spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stated in an exclusive interview with the Iranpress correspondent in Gaza that Hamas supports the strike of administrative prisoners in the prison of the Israeli regime until their rights are realized.
Hazem Qassem emphasized that the issue of Palestinian prisoners in the custody of the Israeli regime is a central issue for all Palestinian people and the Palestinians will not leave the prisoners alone in the fight against the Israeli regime.
The spokesperson of the Hamas movement said that the hunger strike of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jail is being done to end the illegal act of administrative detention and within the framework of the legitimate struggle of the prisoners to achieve their rights.
