Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and said that terrorist attacks, especially in religious places, on innocent citizens have nothing to do with the teachings of Islam.

Iran PressIran news:  Nasser Kanaani condemned the terrorist attack on the funeral ceremony held for the Taliban Provincial Deputy Governor in Faizabad Nabavi Mosque in Badakhshan, Afghanistan. 

On Thursday morning, at least 10 people were killed and 25 others were injured due to an explosion in Faizabad Nabavi mosque. 

The explosion occurred in Nabavi Mosque of Faizabad, Badakhshan during the funeral ceremony of Taliban Provincial Deputy Governor Molavi Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi. 

The day before, Taliban's Deputy Governor and his driver were killed in a car bombing when a suicide attacker rammed a car carrying explosives toward his car. 

In a statement, the ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the murder of the deputy governor of Badakhshan.

Despite the repeated claims of the Taliban officials about serious fights against the ISIS terrorist group, ISIS continues to commit terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

Molavi Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi is the third senior official of the Taliban, who was killed in explosions in the last four months; the ISIS group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

Three months ago, the governor of Balkh Mohammad Dawood Muzammil and two other people were killed in a terrorist attack in his office.
