Tehran(IP): In a phone call with his Dutch counterpart, the political deputy of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the continuation and increase of political consultations between the officials of the two countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran's political deputy foreign affairs, Ali Bagheri Kani, in a phone call with Marcel de Vink, the deputy foreign minister of the Netherlands, stated that Iran and the Netherlands have various fields of interaction and cooperation ahead of them, and said: Islamic Iran has protected the foundations of bilateral relations with its rational behavior and this is what we expect to see done by the other side.

The political deputy foreign minister of Iran also welcomed the continuation and increase of political consultations between the officials of the two countries.

Marcel de Vink, while appreciating the views of the Iranian side, said that the relations between Iran and the Netherlands are rooted in the long tradition of the two countries, and the two sides should continue their contacts and talks based on mutual respect and understanding.
