Iran Press/ Asia: Referring to the goals of Imam Khomeini and the unity of Muslims, Director of Quds TV Nuruddin Shirin noted that Imam Khomeini showed Muslims the way to fight against the Israeli regime to liberate Palestine and al-Quds.
With reference to the statements of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Shirin said: "Imam Khomeini is like the light that will never be extinguished, and that he is an eternal truth."
Highlighting the victory against oppression, the Quds TV director termed Imam Khomeini taught the "way to salvation", noting that he is the standard bearer of Imam Hussein's flag, who achieved victory against arrogance and tyranny.
He further named this victory the establishment of the Islamic Republic, Shirin added.
Elsewhere, Shirin referred to true Islam and appreciated Imam Khomeini for showing true Islam and its difference from the Americanized Islam and stated: "With Imam Khomeini, we understood the honor, freedom and greatness of the Islamic Ummah."
Still, referring to Imam Khomeini's attention to the oppressed people, the Quds TV director spoke about the role of Imam Khomeini in showing the path of salvation and giving hope to the oppressed people. He continued by referring to Imam Khomeini's personality and mentioned him as a sign of sincerity and piety.
He stated: "We learned from Imam Khomeini to be the true heir of the Prophet [Muhammad], and the way to victory is nothing but foresight and [obaying] the leader."
