Iran Press/ Asia: The 14th of Khordad 1402 (June 4, 2023) is the anniversary of the departure of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Mehdizadeh, a member of the presiding board of Sadeqiya Seminary, in Herat, in an interview with IRIB SaharTV network, said about the personality of Imam Khomeini: "Imam Khomeini is one of the leading authorities and ulema of the Muslim world."
He further added: "That honorable man was the basis of the revolution that established the Islamic Republic of Iran against the tyranny and the presence of arrogance in the Islamic land."
"Based on this, his view on the arrogance and colonialists of the world was that they never have the right to interfere in the fate of nations, especially Muslim nations stated Herat's top cleric."
The member of the Presiding Board of Sadaqiya seminary in Herat further referred to one of the famous sayings of Imam Khomeini (RA) and said: "The sentence is from the famous nobleman who said that USA is worse than the (Former)Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union is worse than the United States, and Britain is worse than both."
Mahdizadeh then mentioned Imam Khomeini's famous statement about the Israeli regime: "Israel is like a cancerous tumor that must be removed from the Muslim community and this area, and the fate of Muslim nations must be in their own hands."
