Tehran (IP) - Director of the border markets of Sistan and Baluchestan province said that exports in border markets have increased by 40% during March and April 2023 in comparison to 2022 and reached 470,000 tons.

Iran PressIran news: Mobin Alimir noted: "Export cargo has been transported by 22,000 trucks and 7,000 vans from Iran to the zero-border point and delivered to the fleet of target countries."

Alimir stated that 45,000 trucks have commuted to export and import goods.

Sistan and Baluchestan, southeast of Iran, with the largest land and water border, is the most important trade route of the ancient world, known as Silk Road.

Iran-Pakistan relations have been growing in various sectors.

Pakistan, with more than 900 kilometers of land border, has the longest joint border with Iran.
